A lanyard holds the pass around the neck; a retractable one lets it reach the reader without being lifted over your head. Pull the card down to tap in, let go, and it returns to the chest on its own. For anyone moving through doors, lifts and turnstiles all day, that is the difference between a lanyard that gets worn and one that gets taken off by mid-morning.

Key Features

Retractable cord: The card pulls down to the reader and returns on its own when released.
Worn around the neck: The pass stays at chest height, in reach and in view.
For cards and keys: Holds ID badges, access cards and office keys.
Multiple colours: A range of shades to match a brand palette or separate departments.
Custom branding: Your logo along the lanyard strap.
Everyday wear: Light enough to be worn through a full working day.

Why Choose a Retractable Lanyard?

The pass never comes off: A plain lanyard has to be lifted over the head at every reader. A retractable one stays on, which is why people keep wearing it.
Your logo is at chest height: A lanyard sits exactly where people look, on every colleague and visitor, for the whole working day.
It is used a dozen times a day: Lift lobbies, office doors, car parks and turnstiles all add up, and each one puts your branding back in someone’s hand.
Colours can organise a workforce: A different shade per department, floor or contractor group makes access at a glance easier for everyone.
One item for staff and visitors: The same lanyard works for permanent employees, contractors and event delegates.

Building a Staff ID or Event Kit?

A lanyard is rarely handed over alone. Pair it with a Custom Retractable Badge Reel for staff who prefer to clip the card to a belt instead, and add a Mini Pocket Notepad with a Metallic Vondo Pen for people working away from a desk. Custom Paper Bags With Logo finish the handover. If the lanyard should charge a phone at an event, the 3-in-1 Charging Cable Lanyard doubles as a cable; and for clinical staff who need the time at a glance, the Custom Retractable Watch Lanyard holds a watch on the same principle.

More than an accessory, this is the one item a whole workforce wears every day. It is on in the lift, at the desk, in the canteen and at every door in between — your name at chest height, on everyone, all year. Very few corporate gifts are worn quite that consistently by quite that many people.

Pull, tap, and it springs back — without taking it off. Contact us now to talk about custom retractable lanyards for your corporate gifts.
